It was sixty-six years ago today

That you came to live on this earth.

We'll celebrate with you this way

The anniversary of your birth.

The time has gone so swiftly by;

I realize another year has past

As I check the calendar, and with heavy sigh,

I feel each one pass faster than the last.

Tho my hair has gone from brown to grey,

And my memory starts to roam,

Tho the 'smile' lines are in my face to stay,

I still remember the love that was in our home.

I wish we could be with you on this special day.

With friends and family we would say to you

"We want to wish you a Happy Birthday

And ask God's blessings in all that you do."

Surround yourself with friends so true,

And with family you love so dear.

May all the wishes come to you

That you wish for this next year.
